Puerto del Carmen

It is the main tourist area of the island of Lanzarote, it is located ten minutes from the airport, this is the perfect place for your holidays.

Avenida de las Playas runs along the beach, has shops, restaurants, bars with live music and lively nightclubs.

It stretches along about seven kilometers of coastline, which are among others, the beaches of Los Pocillos, Playa Grande, Playa Chica, all of golden sand, as well as various coves. The previous beaches have received from the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE) a certification of safe beaches: Safe Tourism Certified, after passing an audit carried out by TÜV RHEINLAND

You can practice various sports: diving, windsurfing, cycling, parascending, and for those who like cycling there is a twenty-kilometer cycle path.

There is also a golf course for lovers of this sport about five minutes between the towns of Puerto del Carmen and Tías.

Another of the funniest activities is visiting the Rancho Texas theme park, where you can see a great variety of animal species from all over the world, even bathing with dolphins.
